Welcome to R.D. Parker Collegiate

Welcome to R.D. Parker Collegiate!

In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we would like to acknowledge that we are signatories of treaty five land and recognize the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation on whose traditional territory we live, learn, and teach.  The School District of Mystery Lake is located in the community of Thompson in the province of Manitoba, which is located on the traditional and ancestral lands of the nehetho/Ininiw, Denesųłiné, Métis, Inuit, Anisininew, Anishinaabe, and Dakota Oyate Nations. Let this acknowledgment serve as a reminder of our commitment to honor treaties in the spirit of truth and reconciliation.  We are all treaty people.

We are a secondary school serving grades 9 through 12 with a population of approximately 1000 students. The high school serves the community of Thompson, Manitoba, as well as the outlying communities.

R. D. Parker Collegiate offers a variety of programs to help students find their own unique path to success. We have a variety of vocational education majors, academic stream majors as well as a mature student program.

Summer School

RDPC is in the process of organizing summer school for interested students wishing to obtain an extra credit to support graduation. We are currently reaching out to families to see if there are students interested in utilizing this program. We would be offering courses in math, English and science. Each course would run for a 3-week period and attendance would be crucial to ensure curriculum is covered. This is only offered to students who have unsuccessfully attempted a course and did not obtain the credit. If you think that your child may be interested, please email [email protected]

TMO Registration is open for next year!

TMO is a Synchronous Online High School for students in Manitoba. Like Informnet, we partner with schools to help students earn credits that count toward their diploma. Using the Google platform, students from across the province sign into scheduled classes and receive live instruction.  The TMO program benefits small schools with limited courses or staffing options. It has also proven to be a great option for students with mental health challenges or those who have limited access to their school campus.

Courses are $350 each plus a $10 processing fee per student

Elder Sanderson and Kaysi would like to offer time on Tuesdays in blocks B, C and D for students and/or staff to take the opportunity to smudge.  Smudging will take 15 minutes and you must sign up in students services prior to attending.
