Welcome to R.D. Parker Collegiate

Mental Health Resources & Support

Holidays. Celebrations. School breaks. Vacations… Depending on your situation, the end of the calendar year can bring up lots of different emotions, and for some people, can be a difficult time to navigate.

Every person has different needs and capacities, it is okay to try different avenues of support as you navigate difficult times until you find what works best for you. Please be gentle with yourself and we will be waiting to welcome you back in the fall.

Schedule Changes

If you need to make a schedule change please email [email protected] and include the following information:

  • What course you would like to change
  • What you would like to change it to
  • A phone number to best reach you at

Some things to keep in mind when requesting changes:

  • If you call or come in to visit us, you will be put on the same list that emails are on  and we will do the changes in the order we recieve them.
  • Not every class is offered in every period. Sometimes we only have one or two sections of a particular class offered in a year.
  • Our hands-on classes have smaller class sizes due to safety and space restrictions. So not everyone will get into those courses.
  • We do have waitlists for the classes that are currently full. This would mean if someone leaves the class or does not show in the first week, we will move you intothe course during the second week of classes, if there is room available.
  • Please be patient with us. We have a lot of requests and we will get to everyone but it will take us some time.

Smudging

Kaysi, Madeline and the entire Student Services team would like to offer time on  for students and/or staff to take the opportunity to smudge. Please stop by the counsellor's office downstairs to see if the room is available.
